When you write a blog, you open yourself up for criticism. That’s for sure.
I am not naive. I know people judge. I know people have their own agendas. I know there are people who like to hate on others to make themselves feel better. And I know there are people who think that because I air a lot of my personal successes and failures, that I am looking for them to tell me how I could do things better. And then, of course, there are people who just want to take a flat out hit at you, behind a fake name.
As I said yesterday, I don’t care.
But yesterday’s blog opened up a whole other conversation about women and the double standards we are constantly trying to keep in check. Society wants us to be two different people and get it right all the time, just so we don’t make other people feel less than, or uncomfortable. Huh?
